Fallout 4's new Wasteland Workshop DLC doesn't play nicely with some of the game's must-have mods, but luckily there's an easy fix. We'll show you how to get everything back in tip-top shape so you can make epic arenas and paste neon signs all over your settlements.
When Fallout 4's $4.99 Wasteland Workshop DLC launched on Tuesday, it caused a lot of problems for PC players who loaded up their games with mods. The DLC causes severe incompatibility issues with mods built on the hugely popular Settlement Keywords framework. Amazingly useful mods like Homemaker, OCDecorator, NX Pro Farming and Snap n' Build override the Wasteland Workshop's added items, pretty much disabling the DLC.
3 idiots movie online. So in order to get access to Wasteland Workshop content, users had to disable Settlement Keywords and all the mods associated with it, causing a pretty big blow to their saves. Now there's an easy fix--all you have to do is download this Wasteland Workshop Homemaker and Settlement Keywords Patch, install it with the Nexus Mod Manager, and you'll be in tip-top order.
I can confirm that the patch fixes all the conflicts and grants access to Wasteland Workshop's full suite of additions, including cages, trap doors, pressure plates, and the coveted neon signs. If you're still having trouble even with the patch installed, try adjusting your load order with LOOT or use the manual load order below:

There you have it! Thanks to the stalwart efforts of Nexus modder Cancerous1, PC players can enjoy their full range of mods and access Wasteland Workshop at the same time. We hope this little tidbit helped you out, and keep an eye out for our official Wasteland Workshop review in the next few days.
We can all recount our first encounter with the massive beast known as a Deathclaw in Fallout 4, but did you ever wonder where it came from?
When Freedom Calls
By following the main questline (technically the only questline if you follow the quests right away) you will end up in Concord, a small city just outside of Sanctuary, the town that you begin in. When you arrive, there will be a bunch of raiders assaulting a group of survivors inside the Museum of Freedom. When you kill the bandits and approach the museum, Preston Garvey of the Minutemen will give you a Laser Musket, and ask you to save them.
Everyone has done this mission. This is the mission that you do to kick off the game. It's so obvious and in your face that you can't help but do this mission. Unfortunately, a lot of players missed some pretty cool loot towards the end of the quest.
Once you fight through the raiders, you'll end up in a room with the settlers. Preston Garvey and Sturges will ask you to acquire a Fusion Core, power up the T-45 Armor on the roof and assault the incoming bandits.
(NOTE: Before you head outside, grab the two collectibles in the settlers' room. There is a magazine with the Atomic Command video game and the EXTREMELY rare Perception Bobblehead.)
Suit Up
Once you power up the suit, the real fight begins. After jumping off the building, you'll encounter around 6 or 7 raiders, their leader Gristle, and.. oh yeah, a Deathclaw. After a long fight with the previously mentioned, you can complete the quest and be on your way. But before you do, did you think to check where a 20-foot tall irradiated lizard attacked you from? Head over to where the Deathclaw burst through the ground. There you'll find a very accessible sewer system filled with goodies.
(NOTE: Don't forget to loot! Gristle holds the Corvega Storage Key, something that could come in handy later.)
Drop into the hole in the ground and navigate to the blue door market 'Concord Civic Access.'
Be wary! Inside you'll have to fight a few mole rats and a mirelurk (a shelled enemy that lower level players might have trouble with).
Collectibles InsideVault-Tec Lunchbox
Once inside the tunnel, head through the threshold at the end of the hallway and take the chains off of the door on the far side of the room. Follow the tunnel until you can turn left. At the far end of the room, beneath a first aid kit, you'll find the collectible Lunchbox.
Collectible Magazine: Taboo Tattoos + Steamer Trunk
Towards the end of the sewers, you'll mount a small walkway. If you follow the walkway, turn right, head down a small flight of stairs, then turn left you'll come to a room with a steamer trunk to the right and a collectible magazine on the floor in front of it.
Taboo Tattoos adds a permanent face tattoo that you can apply later in the game. The steamer trunk, as it appears at the end of other dungeons, holds a random assortment of goodies.
Other Hidden Treasures
There are a few more locked containers in the sewers including a wooden crate and a couple toolboxes. The 'dungeon' is pretty small so I'll let you find those. In addition, there are a ton of chems and ammo to be found which could be beneficial to a fresh player.
Fallout 4 Sim Settlements Sanctuary Ctd
Give the Concord Civic Access a thorough pat-down and head back to the surface. Remember to always check your surroundings, and inspect every inch of the Commonwealth, one sewer at a time. If you're ever playing and don't seem to be finding enough collectibles, look again. You must have missed something.
